Inland Star Distribution Centers, Inc., founded in 1981, is a third party logistics service provider ("3PL) with an industry reputation for service excellence, responsiveness, and a commitment to warehouse safety and environmental protection. Inland Star currently operates multi-client "public" warehousing facilities in Fresno and Rancho Dominguez, CA, and single-client "contract" facilities in Charlotte, NC, Mobile, AL, and Suffolk, VA.


Public Warehousing

Fresno, California

Inland Star provides public warehousing services at our 535,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters site in Fresno, CA for approximately seventy (70) accounts. A full complement of storage and handling services is provided.

Fresno is the ideal location for centralized California and Western Region distribution. We provide guaranteed next-day delivery throughout California (and to parts of Arizona), and second day service to most of the eleven (11) western states.

Rancho Dominguez, California

For Southern California distribution with ideal proximity to the Port of Long Beach, "Rancho-Inland Star" is the place to be! We provide same-day regional delivery as well as H-3 rated flammable storage for chemical accounts. capability.

Fresno is the ideal location for centralized California and Western Region distribution. We provide guaranteed next-day delivery throughout California (and to parts of Arizona), and second day service to most of the eleven (11) western states.




Contract Warehousing

Inland Star operates several single-client DC's on a contract basis, applying the same high standards of safety and service found in our public warehousing operations. Inland Star currently manages three contract operations:

Mobile, AL - 225,000 sq ft, Major Chemical Company

Suffolk, VA - 100,000 sq ft, Major Chemical Company

Visalia, CA - 250,000 sq ft, Major Food Company

Each of Inland Star's current contract clients benefit from an innovative "Open Book" approach in which all service delivery issues, including requirements, operating costs, profit margin, incentives, and performance criteria and results, etc., are clearly outlined, documented, reviewed, and "fine-tuned" on a regular basis. The benefits of this approach include reduced risk and cost.
